Kuja doṣa (being “manglik”) is said to form when Mars sits in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house from the ascendant, the Moon or Venus. Light on Life notes it has no source in the traditional texts, and gives exceptions that cancel it. Patri checks all three references and the cancellations.
