The operator's legal name, address, grievance officer and jurisdiction are being finalised and will appear here before Patri accepts payments.

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator named on this page (“we”), who operates Patri at patri.rahulverma.cc. By using Patri you accept them. If you don't, please don't use it.

1. What Patri is

Patri computes a Vedic (Jyotiṣa) birth chart from astronomical data and reports what classical texts say about it, citing the book and verse for each statement. It is offered for information, study and reflection. It describes what the texts associate with a chart; it does not state facts about your life or predict events with certainty.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing on Patri is medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and it must not be used instead of it. Do not make health, legal, financial, marriage or other important decisions on the basis of Patri alone. Patri does not report on lifespan, death, medical diagnoses, legal outcomes or fertility. If you are in distress or danger, contact local emergency services.

3. The assistant

The assistant writes answers with an AI model from your chart's report. It is told to use only the report and to cite its sources, and our server checks the sources, but AI-written text can still be incomplete or wrong. Check what matters to you against the cited sources.

4. Accounts

You need to be 18 or over to create an account. You sign in with a Google account whose e-mail address is verified; keep it secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your Patri account. One account per person.

5. Acceptable use

• No automated or bulk access (scraping, bots) beyond normal personal use, and no attempts to get around rate limits or payments.
• No copying of Patri's knowledge base, software or design for another product.
• Enter other people's birth details only with their permission.
• No unlawful, abusive or harmful use, including trying to make the assistant produce such content.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and refund any unused purchase where the law requires.

6. Purchases

• Prices are shown on the pricing page and include taxes. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, whose terms also apply to the payment.
• You see one price, in rupees in India and in US dollars elsewhere, decided from your time zone, location or choice; you can switch. The currency of a checkout matches the price you were shown.
• One-time purchases: a question pack, a chart unlock, a PDF report and passes. They never renew.
• A question pack adds questions to your balance. Each question you send uses one; a question that gets no answer is not counted. Questions are personal, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and do not expire while Patri operates.
• A chart unlock opens that one chart's locked sections for as long as Patri operates. A PDF report is for the one chart you bought it for and includes its unlock; you can download it again as long as Patri operates.
• A pass opens every chart and PDF and adds its questions for its number of days from purchase (a second pass adds its days after the first ends). Unused pass questions end with the pass.
• Patri Plus and Patri Scholar are subscriptions that renew automatically each month or year at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Their monthly questions reset each month from the day you subscribed and do not carry over. A plan's features are described on the pricing page; fair use applies (automated or shared use of one account is not allowed). We tell you by e-mail before any change to your plan's price, and it applies only from a renewal after that notice.
• If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays on for 3 days while the payment is retried; it then stops until the payment succeeds.
• We may change prices for future purchases; what you already bought is not affected.
• Refunds follow the refund policy.

7. Intellectual property

Patri's software, knowledge base and design belong to us. The classical works and their translations belong to their authors and publishers; Patri cites them and encodes their statements, it does not reproduce them. Your questions remain yours; you allow us to process them to provide the service.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Patri available and accurate but cannot promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we stop the paid service, we will refund unused question balances and the unused part of passes and subscription periods, and give you time to download your PDFs.

9. Liability

Patri is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or for decisions made on the basis of Patri, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Ending

You can stop using Patri and delete your account at any time from your account page.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at the operator’s place of business, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to use the forum the law gives you. Please write to us first; most problems can be settled quickly.

12. Changes to these terms
