The operator's legal name, address, grievance officer and jurisdiction are being finalised and will appear here before Patri accepts payments.
This policy explains what Patri (patri.rahulverma.cc) collects, why, who else processes it, how long it is kept, and your rights. Patri is operated by the operator named on this page (“we”). Questions: rahulverma3d99@gmail.com.
1. In short
- You can make a chart and read its full report without an account. The birth details you enter are used to compute the chart and travel in the chart's link; we do not store them in a database.
- If you sign in with Google, we keep your name, e-mail address and picture, your question balance, your purchases and your conversations with the assistant.
- Payments are handled by Dodo Payments. We never see your card, UPI or bank details.
- When you ask the assistant a question, the question and the chart data it needs are sent to an AI provider to write the answer.
- No advertising, no selling of data, no third-party analytics or tracking cookies. To choose which questions to show you, your browser keeps a small interest profile on your device; we receive only anonymous counts (details and controls).
2. What we collect and why

The legal bases are: performing our contract with you (the chart, the assistant, purchases); our legitimate interest in running a secure service; legal obligations (accounting records); and your consent where the law requires it, which you can withdraw at any time.
If you enter someone else's birth details (a family member, a friend), please do so only with their permission.
3. The assistant
When you ask a question, we send your question, the recent messages of that conversation and the parts of the chart's report the assistant looks up (these can include the birth date, time and place) to OpenRouter, Inc. (United States), which forwards it to a company hosting the model we use (currently z-ai/glm-5.3-flash, developed by Z.ai (Zhipu AI)). They process it to produce the answer, possibly outside India, under their own policies. We do not use your conversations to train any model. Answers are checked by our server before you see them (sources must exist in the report; restricted topics are withheld).
Before the answer, the text of your question alone (no chart data, no name) is sent through OpenRouter to TypeSafe, whose model classifies it: which area of life it is about, whether it asks about a topic we never report (then Patri answers with its policy instead and does not charge the question), and whether you sound distressed (then the answer begins with where to find support). The result is used for that answer and, as an area, for the interest profile on your device; only anonymous counts are kept.
Your own AI assistant (MCP)
With Patri Plus you can connect an AI assistant of your choice (for example Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor) to Patri, with an API key or by allowing it on a Patri sign-in page. That assistant then asks Patri for your saved charts and their reports, and receives them, including birth details. Patri sends nothing on its own: each answer goes only to the app you connected, at its request, and from there to its AI provider under their terms, not ours. Topics we never report are not in what it receives. You can revoke a key or disconnect an app at any time on Dashboard → Connections; we keep only a hash of each key and token, the app's name, and when it was last used.
4. Payments
Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record, which collects the payment details and issues your invoice. We send Dodo your e-mail, your name, the product and an internal reference; we never send your birth details. Dodo tells us whether the payment succeeded, the amount, currency and tax.
5. Who else processes your data
- Google: sign-in.
- Dodo Payments: payments, invoices, refunds.
- OpenRouter and the model host: answering assistant questions.
- TypeSafe (through OpenRouter): classifying the text of a question, as described in section 3.
- Resend or Amazon SES: delivering our e-mails (your address, the message).
- Cloudflare (R2 storage): keeping the PDF reports we build for you for a day, the monthly patri of subscribers, and the site's images and video.
- Our hosting provider: the servers that run Patri and its database. The database and cache run on servers we manage.
- Infisical: stores our configuration secrets (keys and passwords), not your data.
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
6. Cookies and storage
We use only the cookies the site needs: a session cookie when you sign in (valid for 30 days), the short-lived security cookies the sign-in process sets, a signed-in hint (so the page shows the right buttons before it loads), and patri_region, which remembers whether to show prices in rupees or US dollars (set from your browser's time zone on your first visit, or by your choice; kept for a year). No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own server.
Your browser also keeps the last birth details you entered (name, date, time, place), on this device only, so the free tools don't ask again; they are never sent to us except in the links you open. “Forget them” above the form clears them. Where the rule below asks for consent, they last for the visit only.
The interest profile and engagement counts
Patri shows questions (“When does your next strong period for work begin?”) and learns which kinds you open. That profile stays in your browser's storage: the areas and kinds of question you open or skip, the tools you used, how you arrived (campaign tags such as utm_source), and a random id. It never contains birth details, your name or your e-mail, and it is never sent to us whole.
We receive anonymous events (a question was shown, opened, or led to a sign-up or purchase) with the random id, and keep them for 30 days; from them we keep only counts per question and per day. We store no IP address with them. When you sign up or buy, we note the campaign tags and the last question you opened in the week before, from four first-party cookies (patri_vid, patri_ft,patri_lt, patri_lq, kept 7 to 365 days), to learn which questions help people. A session cookie patri_cc holds the country our network provider reports, to decide the rule below.
In the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the profile lasts only for the visit and nothing is sent until you say yes. Everywhere, a browser that sends Global Privacy Control is treated as a no, and you can switch it off or clear it here:
7. How long we keep it
- Account data, question balance, conversations: until you delete them or your account.
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (in India, up to eight years). If you delete your account, they are kept without your name and e-mail.
- Server logs: up to 30 days. Payment webhook receipts: 30 days. Rate-limit counters: at most one day.
- Charts made without an account: not stored beyond the short-lived memory cache.
8. Your rights
You can see, correct and delete your data. Your account page shows your conversations and purchases and lets you delete conversations or your whole account. You can also write to rahulverma3d99@gmail.com. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may access, correct and erase your data, withdraw consent, nominate someone to exercise these rights, and raise a grievance with the officer below (and then with the Data Protection Board of India). If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the rights to portability, to object and to restrict processing, and may complain to your data-protection authority.
9. Children
Accounts are for people aged 18 or over. A parent or guardian may make a chart for their child; please do not let a child sign in or use the assistant.
10. Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Keys and passwords are kept in a secrets manager, access to servers is restricted, and we store no card or bank details. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

12. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell signed-in users of any significant change before it applies.
