We can prove the astronomy, and we show the text behind every reading. We don't claim to predict your life. Here is what that means in practice, and how to hold us to it.
1. Precision
Planet positions come from our own reader of NASA JPL's DE440 ephemeris, the one used to navigate spacecraft (public domain). We check it against an independent calculation (Swiss Ephemeris on the same DE440 file) for 200 births from 1900 to 2050: six ayanāṃśas, three house systems, four sunrise definitions.
The worst difference for any planet, the ascendant or a house cusp is 0.0000004° (1.4 milli-arcseconds); every such test must stay within 0.000001°. The few known differences are differences of definition, and are written down.
Birth times are converted with the clock rules in force on that date at that place (the full history of time zones, war time, and local mean time before 1906 in India). The precision you give is carried through the whole chart: what could change within it is marked, and the most sensitive divisional charts are withheld.
Birth time sensitivity shows, for your chart, how many minutes would change the rising sign and how many days the period dates move.
The live server repeats a known case on every health check (/api/health).
2. Citations
Patri's readings are rules encoded from the classical texts, one statement at a time, each with the book, chapter and verse and how confident the reading is. There are 5,961 citations, each matched automatically to the words on the page of the book it cites.
Where the texts disagree, both readings are shown: 200 such points so far. They are never averaged into one verdict. What supports an area of life and what challenges it are kept apart too.
The assistant answers only from your chart's report and must cite it; a source that does not exist in the report is removed before you see the answer.

3. The pledge
The classics discuss them. Patri computes nothing about them for you, and its assistant will not.
Health themes are described gently and are never a diagnosis. For those questions, a qualified professional.
Kuja doṣa and the like are shown with the exceptions the texts give, and labelled when a reading is modern.
With their cautions and sources. No gemstones, no paid rituals, no one selling you a puja.
Timing is a range of months or years. Nobody can promise you a Tuesday.
No human astrologer, no per-minute meter. The assistant is an AI and says so.
4. Found a wrong citation? Tell us
